Truth!
I will fight for TRUTH!
LIFE of the Unborn - it begins at conception!
Religious Freedom
Traditional Family Values
Government Transparency
We live in a world where truth is relevant. I can have my truth, and you can have yours. Imagine trying to work that paradigm in your home. Your two-year-old probably has a different truth than you do. It would be a chaotic mess to allow them to live in “their truth.”
Worse than chaotic….how unfair and cruel. No boundaries or guideposts equals total madness! What a sad way to grow up.
And yet, here we are, every single day, seeing the chaos growing and growing with intensity because people desire to push “their truths” upon everyone else. But what is truth, and can it be found in government?
Every society has norms. They are guiding posts that direct us. Many have been in place for generations. Sometimes, what we believe is wrong; over time, as we seek TRUTH, we gain wisdom and adjust our norms, and that’s a good thing. Sometimes, some norms were once commonplace and need to be returned.
Government isn’t a societal norm-setting place; the people set the standards.
In South Dakota, we believe that “under God the People rule.” Therefore, one can presume that the people of South Dakota heavily influence our governmental standards. I like that! It means our societal norms protect babies in the womb and the First and Second Amendments.
My truth is a person.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life….” Perhaps you disagree with that, and that’s your choice.
In South Dakota, we understand that we can agree to come together in a circle and find the things that matter. For example, people should be able to live their lives as they deem worthy. They should have Low taxes and land protected from radicals who think eminent domain should be used to steal from hardworking South Dakotans. We should be able to agree that we need opportunities to open a small business, homeschool our babies or sign them up for public school, and freely live in peace.
If you agree with that, then
together, we can make a difference!
But as a side note: If you believe that men can be women and take our positions, fight in our boxing rings, or pee in our toilets, you and I….well….the truth is you should probably vote for the guy.
